Updated: June 2016

27th Ramadan nafl namaz

“Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree). And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). The Angels and the Ruh descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.”
(Holy Quran 97:1-5)

Narrated Abu Huraira (رضي الله عنه) :
Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “Whoever establishes the prayers on the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards (not to show off) then all his past sins will be forgiven.”
(Sahih Bukhari, Book 2, Hadith 28)

Aishah (رضي الله عنها) narrated :
“The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) would Yujawir (stay in I’tikaf) during the last ten (nights) of Ramadan and he said: ‘Seek the Night of Al-Qadr during the last ten (nights) of Ramadan.'”
(Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 8, Hadith 111, – Grade: Sahih)

‘A’isha (رضي الله عنها) and Ibn Numair reported Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) as saying:
Look for Lailat-ul-Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan.
(Sahih Muslim, Book 13, Hadith 282)

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that:
The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Whoever stands (in the voluntary night prayer of) Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. And whoever spends the night of Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”
(Sunan an-Nasa’i, The Book Of Faith and its Signs, Vol. 6, Book 47, Hadith 5030,  Grade : Sahih by Darussalam)

Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه):
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) as saying: Seek lailat al-Qadr in the last ten night of Ramadan. When nine (nights) remain (i.e. on the twenty first) , when seven (night) remain (i.e. on the twenty third), and when five (nights) remain (i.e. on the twenty fifth).
(Sunan Abu Dawud, Book of Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat), Detailed Injunctions about Ramadan, Book 6, Hadith 1376,   Grade: Sahih)
